RE: Buying a Class A, should I sell the popup?

When we were looking at selling our PUP, loaded with amenities you don't normaly find in a PUP, the potential "buyers" wanted us to basically GIVE it to them!!!!!!! You mentioned the $7k -$8k range, you should probably lower your expectations to somewhere around 1/2 of that or maybe less!!!!!!!!! NOT running down your PUP, just speaking from experience! If "I" had it to do all over again, I would probably look into "donating" it to a nationally recognized charity and take the tax break!?!?!?!?!? OR You COULD just give it to a family member that would "appreciate" it and take care of it. That way, you could always "borrow" it IF the need/want ever arose in the future! (make that a stipulation of the "gift"!) LOLOL

RE: Do you smoke in your RV

It is MY motorhome, I paid for it, & plan on keeping it till the wheels fall off of it! That being said, NO, I don't smoke inside the MH, it has cloth ceilings that would absorb all that nasty foul smelling smoke that even "I" couldn't bear! We don't even do much cooking INSIDE for the very same reason, not much smells worse than stale fried fish!!! If it weren't for the ceiling material, I would!

"Prior to the snap"

OK, so someone please explain this to me! If you have a "false start" it is already PRIOR TO THE SNAP AND ON THE OFFENSE so why is it that the refs have to tell us all the OBVIOUS????????? "Prior to the snap, false start, on the offense"! Do these guys just like hearing themselves over the PA system or what??????? Almost as bad is: "offsides, defense" - Again, if you have an "offsides" call it is automatically on the DEFENSE!

RE: KEYSTONE Challenger Model 29TRL - *UPDATE*

Well, he took delivery last Friday and hauled it home with no problems! He did mention a couple of things that he isn't "happy" about; 2 grey tank dump locations - Why didn't they plumb these together?????? 50 amp entrance receptacle/power cord - Looks like they would have incorporated some kind of "stress relief" into that set up, maybe a 90 degree connector?????

KEYSTONE Challenger Model 29TRL - *UPDATE*

My boss just bought a 2008 Keystone Challenger 29TRL. Is there anything he should know about this particular 5th wheel, good OR bad? Anyone on this board have any experience with this model or one similar? Oh, BTW, he will take delivery of his unit this coming Friday! Thanks much in advance!

RE: Landscaping & out door living space efforts

joanne0012 - the basement wall actually goes approx. 12" further up under the vinyl siding so there is no danger of "critters" or water invasion! Plus, I have a very good "bug man"!!!!! (he uses the "good stuff") LOLOL

RE: Landscaping & out door living space efforts

A little over a year ago our company decided to start working 4 days a week, 10 hours a day, giving me a 3 day weekend EVERY weekend. I had to come up with SOMETHING to do with that "extra" day so I decided to make some flower beds for my wife. Here is what I have come up with so far! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/tupelo/PHASEII.jpg height=440 width=600 This is what it looks like 8 months later! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/tupelo/P8020174.jpg height=440 width=600 This is the "large" flower bed the latter part of last year http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/tupelo/PA060462_1.jpg height=440 width=600 Here is the "large" flower bed with the sidewalk completed and "lighting" almost completed! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/tupelo/P8020167.jpg height=440 width=600 Hopefully the good Lord will allow me to live long enough to "finish" at least the front yard!!?!?!?!?!

CFL's - more dangerous than 1st thought!

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=72133 Poisonous vapor so bad, researchers recommend families no longer use CFLs The results were stunning: Breaking a single compact fluorescent bulb on the floor can spike mercury vapor levels in a room – particularly at a child's height – to over 300 times the EPA's standard accepted safety level.

RE: Class A in VERY hot weather - window treatment?

We use Reflectix on our bedroom windows. It not only helps "insulate", but it also keeps the bedroom dark so the "better half" can sleep in without the morning light bothering her! This has been on the bedroom windows for over 3 years now with no problems with the windows as of yet! http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=13357-56291-13357&lpage=none
